1、product overview
PU961 is an alcohol ester soluble polyurethane resin suitable for manufacturing gravure printing inks without benzene or ketone for surface printing. PU961 resin has excellent pigment wetting properties and good adhesion on polyolefins, especially on OPP films with good adhesion fastness, heat resistance, and anti adhesion properties. It also has good resistance to chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide.
PU961 has excellent compatibility with similar polyurethanes, nitrocellulose, aldehyde ketone resins, etc. on the market. Due to its high molecular weight and TG value, PU961 resin belongs to the film-forming type. Therefore, it can be used alone to make ink formulations or in combination with nitrocellulose, aldehyde ketone resin, and PVB resin.
