Fulingt will build a factory in Salvi, India
? Flint Group announced that it will build a brand new manufacturing plant in Salvi, Baroda, Gujarat, India. This new factory covering an area of 9000 square meters will mainly produce water-based inks and coatings to meet the demand of the local paper and cardboard packaging market, while also producing energy curing inks to serve the label and narrow web rotary printing industries.
??This expansion is an important step for Flint Group to continue to deepen its presence in the Indian market, aiming to better meet the growing printing demand in the region. The new factory is only 10 kilometers away from Flint Group's flexible packaging manufacturing plant in Ramdapura, which mainly produces solvent based inks and has a dedicated non toluene ink production line.
??In addition to its new factory in Salvi, Flint Group also has multiple production bases in India, including an ISO 9001:2015 certified factory in Hosul (primarily producing narrow width rotary label ink) and a blending factory in Noida. In addition, the company has warehouses in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, providing comprehensive products and services to customers across the country.
??The Salvi factory will adopt the standardized manufacturing process of Flint Group to produce high-quality AquaCode series water-based inks and coatings. These products are carefully designed to not only meet the sustainable development needs of printers, but also maintain excellent printing performance and color stability. The factory will be gradually put into operation in stages and is expected to achieve full operation by the beginning of the second quarter of 2025.
??In addition to water-based products, the new factory will also produce the acclaimed EkoCure Dual Cure series of energy curing inks to meet the growing demand in the Indian label and narrow width rotary market. This series of products is compatible with traditional mercury lamp UV curing and low-energy LED UV curing, which can help printers smoothly transition to LED UV printing technology while reducing operating costs.
